Mobile Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant / Paramedic (Per Diem)

At Doral Health & Wellness, we provide integrated, interdisciplinary healthcare services throughout the New York community. We are a growing, patient-focused medical organization seeking a dependable Mobile Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant (MA) / Paramedic to join our team on a per diem basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant, certified Phlebotomist, or Paramedic who enjoys mobile work, flexible scheduling, and meaningful community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patients’ homes to provide mobile services as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Paramedic
• Perform blood draws via finger stick and venipuncture
• Administer flu vaccines per clinical protocols (for qualified MAs and Paramedics)
• Obtain and document vital signs, including height and weight
• Perform venipuncture during high-volume screening events as needed
• Properly label, prepare, and transport specimens for laboratory processing
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care in home and community settings

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant (MA), Phlebotomy, or Paramedic certification from an accredited program
• Demonstrated experience in blood draws and specimen handling
• National certification preferred (AMT, ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent; Paramedic certification accepted)
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
• Personal vehicle required for home visits
• Ability to pass a standard background check
